Following a £million plus move to fantastic new premises at Nunnery Drive, the Builders Centre is now more than ever one of the regions premier independent builders merchants.

Situated off the Parkway and just ten minutes drive from Meadowhall, the Builders Centre is ideally located, offering easy access from the M1 and local routes to the city.

Established in 1959 the Builders Centre has developed dramatically from its original premises in Suffolk Road, from where the company operated for over forty years. However the ethos remains the same – quality building materials covering all requirements of the industry, whether private or trade and fully comprehensive expert advice on all matters relating to building and plumbing materials and their usage.

The Builders Centre stands out from its competitors not only with regards to the quality and variety of materials available but also its friendly knowledgeable sales team who between them have over one hundred and fifty years of merchanting experience. “We provide for everyone from the smallest builder to the large construction multiples “ tells Managing Director , Perry Eyre.

The success and progression is not something that has been easy. “When I started as a sixteen year old straight from school we were one of many independent merchants in the area, today we are one of the remaining few” testimony to the strong management team who have kept the company at the forefront of the merchanting industry.

The Builders Centre is able to offer customers a fascinating experience to plan their own affordable and up-to-date kitchen and bathroom on a specialist design system. This computer aided design technology enables the customer to actually see what their new room could be like before committing to buying. There is also a large selection of bathrooms and kitchens on display in the showroom enabling customers to browse at their leisure to fully appreciate the large selection of styles available.
